The Yogo Inn is a full service, independently owned and operated hotel and conference center in the exact center of the great state of Montana. The hotel and event spaces have been a Lewistown, Fergus County institution since 1962 when the town first constructed the hotel and incorporated the original Milwaukee, St. Paul and Chicago train depot that was built in 1913. Due to the hotels’ convenient location in such a large state, the Yogo Inn has long been a gathering place for people coming from far and wide from major cities in Montana. Visitors to our area are drawn to the vast abundance of wildlife and outdoor sporting adventures including hunting, fishing, bird hunting, hiking and biking, the annual Chokecherry festival, prehistoric pictographs and good fun! The Yogo Inn is proud to have just completed in 2020 a massive restoration of the historic train depot passenger room which serves as the main ballroom and event space. In addition, guests will find newly updated guest rooms with all new American made furniture, mattresses, linens, paint, carpet and more! Our popular year-round indoor pool and hot tub are the only ones to be found for over 100 miles. The Yogo Inn features Stetson’s, our on-site restaurant, the Golden Spike, a lounge serving fine libations and beers from all over the state and on and off-site catering and bar service within a 25 mile radius. Our name may be a bit peculiar as well, we were named after the famous nearby Yogo Gulch in which the finest sapphires in America are found. Yogo sapphires are very highly prized, and we aim to be worthy of their fine reputation.
